Step 3: Apply for a scholarship if needed / Paso 3: Aplicar para beca si es necesario

Ballet Uniforms

OPTION 1: LEOTARD, SHORTS & TIGHTS
We would like our students to wear either children's Theatricals 5" inseam shorts (item #TH5106C) or the adult Theatricals 5" inseam shorts (item #TH5016). If your child is more comfortable wearing bike shorts, you can find them on www.discountdance.com. You can purchase the BLACK leotard and tights by clicking on our Curtain Call store. Using this method, the uniform will be shipped straight to you, however you will still need to purchase black shorts and ballet slippers. |
OPTION 2: JAZZ PANTS
Dancers can also wear either shorts or black jazz pants. The pants can be found on www.discountdance.com, as well. We would prefer either children's Body Wrappers jazz pants (item #B191) or the adult Body Wrappers jazz pants (item #M191). Dancers will also need to wear a plain white or plain black tee shirt with no printing. They can be found at many retailers, including Walmart (click: boy's tee or men's tee). They will also need to wear either black ballet shoes or black jazz shoes. Both can be purchased at the Westside School of Ballet, where the student can be fitted for shoes. Other places in Los Angeles to purchase shoes include Discount Dance or Shelly's Dance and Costume. Payless sometimes carries jazz shoes as well. |
